Volunteers who attended the Safe Enviornment Class prior to this date are required to read this Updated material & sign the Acknowledgement Form titled "Information and Communication Technology Addendum. Safe Environment Part II: Mandated Reporting of Suspected Child Abuse (on-line) Provides an overview of Archdiocesan reporting procedures for suspected child abuse and Pennsylvania Child Welfare Laws. This training is mandatory for all new volunteers who began service after December, 2011 or who did not take the training in-person. This training is now available on-line through the Office for Child and Youth Protection website:

4. FBI Fingerprinting* - Required for any volunteer who has been a PA Resident for LESS than 10 years consecutively.
PA residents who have been residents for 10 years or MORE will be required to sign the Pennsylvania Residence Disclosure form ONLY and will NOT be required to obtain fingerprinting. Click here to download the Pennsylvania Residence Disclosure Form.
